Why Parenting?

I love teaching and I have no doubt in my mind and heart that these classes help to strengthen and deepen relationships between parents and their children. When someone tells me, “After attending Breakthrough Parenting, I have become a better mother, a better sister and a better daughter” my heart gets filled with joy and and it confirms that taking a parenting class makes a difference.

My Intention is to...

Most parents do their best with what they know, and with this course along with Positive Discipline tools, parents have the opportunity to gain additional skills that will create closeness with the people that they love the most; they're children.

My intention is to…

  • Assist parents in guiding their children into becoming responsible, self-sufficient, independent, and loving adults

  • Increase better communication and understanding within the family

  • Increase confidence in both the parent and the child

  • Expand on the parent’s self-awareness in order to make conscious choices

  • Assist parents in identifying their family values

  • Clarify between discipline and punishment

  • Teach effective discipline skills

  • Decrease childhood trauma

  • Promote modern views on parenting, which includes, personal and societal responsibility

About Breakthrough Parenting

The Breakthrough Parenting program was developed with Dr. Jayne A. Major (Ph.D. UCLA) based on her 25 years of real-life experience with helping more than 15,000 families. More than 20,000 hours of development was used to create this incredibly comprehensive program in order to “help parents understand how children think, how they function at different ages, and how to get effective discipline through teaching what to do, as opposed to what not to do. All of this with no manipulation and no violence.” Please visit Breakthrough Parenting for more information.
